Boys tell me they’re going for a surf in Gizzy over Xmas.  Keen as to go.  Need to be smart about this.

Friday 20 November

Been offered heaps of overtime at work. Mint, great timing.  Had beers with boys tonight and told them about the overtime.  Jimmi mentioned to fake a claim with ACC.  Yeah good idea.  Did that couple of years ago and got 2 months off.  Sweet. Got to check at work though to see what they do with claims.

 Monday 23 November

Work’s sweet with claims.  They don’t do jack, they’re slack as.  This is gonna be too easy.

Started overtime today too and will last until Xmas.  One of my workmates told me about a local Doc who is sweet with med certs – they reckon he doesn’t like ACC.  Need one of those to get my ACC comp.

 Monday 21 December

Had 4 weeks of wicked over time.  15 hours per week at least.  I reckon I can get 5 weeks off too.  1st week work pays then 4 weeks on ACC.  Ha ha I don’t think many people know that my first 4 weeks of ACC payments are based on my last 4 weeks of income.  Go the overtime!!  I’m gonna fake an injury tomorrow… Gizzy here I come!

Oh, got to check where the CCTV cameras are first…

Tuesday 22 December

Ha ha had a back injury today.  Oops.  Slipped on some wet concrete whilst carrying heavy stuff.  Too easy. H&S manager wasn’t happy but he doesn’t know much about ACC.  Doc was only gonna give me 7 days.  Told him about xmas and new years – no way that I can go see a doc in that time.  He’s sweet, gave me off until 11 Jan so 3 weeks.  Good start.  Will see if can get a couple of extra weeks tho…
