What we did in Covid hibernation
What a weird month this has been.
We’ve moved through the Covid levels faster than Superman changing into his cape, people are emerging from Covid hibernation blinking at the daylight just in time for winter, and there’s been a massive increase in traffic between level 3 and level 2. I don’t know about you, but I was enjoying the peace and quiet of no traffic!
At ManageACC, we’ve been busy following up with Covid affected customers - providing support and information, helping apply for the wage subsidy, following up on webinars and generally being as useful as we can to anyone that needed us. As well as doing our normal ACC levy reviews, review hearings and industry wide project work, we’ve also submitted a consultation document to ACC to investigate the levy rate for the Horse Riding Schools industry and are currently working on two other submissions.
This is what else we’ve been up to:
We’ve had a big win in a review with ACC regarding Use of Money Interest – check out the details here: https://www.managecompany.co.nz/accadvocacy
We were profiled in the RTANZ May newsletter – see here: RTANZ news
In the last month, we’ve set up a new partnership with n3 (coming online shortly), a website developer and a lawyer who specialises in tax debt, not to mention HazardCo who we delivered a very successful joint webinar with.
And we’re not stopping there. We’re looking for partners to fill the gaps – businesses who fit in with us, and what we stand for. So if you know of any business that would like to join forces, get in touch with me.
ACC once called us “The true definition of an Intermediary” – and they’re not wrong. If we can’t help you, we’ll find someone who can.
Best wishes for the coming month.
