ACC pre-employment checks

We have created a short video detailing ACC’s new process for getting your new worker’s ACC history as part of your recruitment process. ACC have updated this where it is now mostly candidate driven and the turnaround time is under 48 hours. This is a massive improvement on the previous 2 – 4 weeks turnaround.  Oh, and the process is still free!  We tested this process and received a report within 2 minutes which was rather impressive.

We strongly recommend that all our clients use this process as part of their recruitment.  This way you can clearly see any issues you need to be aware off prior to employing.  The history also gives information regarding pre-existing claims and claims that may result of a re-aggravation of a previous injury.  This is very useful for challenging ACC on accepting claims that perhaps, should not be the employers to wear for Experience Rating purposes.
